Minefields?
If you know our family, I’m sure you’re wondering what the title of this blog could possibly have to do with us. We aren’t really dancers and we certainly don’t spend much time in minefields.
Dancing in the Minefields is the title of a song that Rudy and I love. It’s by an amazingly talented singer-songwriter named Andrew Peterson. (I highly recommend that you check him out.) The song is the story of a couple who get married young and survive the ups and downs of life together. They dance through the daily minefields of raising children, making ends meet and trying to accomplish their dreams. It’s what Rudy and I remind ourselves of every time one of the kids gets sick, the bank balance doesn’t meet our expectations or one of life’s little SNAFUs just gets in the way. We try to remember to dance. As long as we’re dancing together, the minefields will be our dancefloor.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that song and what it means to your blog!
so precious!!!
